RecycleRaise is a platform that helps individuals and groups fundraise by collecting recyclable materials from neighbors. Questions or requests? Contact us at hello@recycleraise.com.

Campaign creators provide: name, email address.

Neighbors (signups) provide: name, email address (optional), phone number (optional), street address, and recycling notes (optional). We convert addresses to approximate coordinates for route optimization.

Payment data is handled entirely by our payment processor. We never store credit card numbers or banking information.

Automatically collected: we do not use analytics trackers, cookies, or fingerprinting. We store no browser or device data.

• To operate your campaign page and enable neighbor signups
• To send email reminders before scheduled pickups
• To send SMS reminders if you provided a phone number and selected SMS as your reminder channel (Pro campaigns only)
• To calculate proximity-based route ordering for campaign creators
• To send transactional emails: signup confirmations, manage links, verification emails
• To process Pro plan payments

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

If you provide a phone number during signup and select SMS as your reminder channel, you may receive automated text-message reminders before each scheduled pickup. SMS reminders are only sent for campaigns on a paid Pro plan; free-plan campaigns receive email reminders only.

Message and data rates may apply. Frequency is typically 1–4 messages per month per recipient, depending on the campaign's pickup cadence.

Reply STOP to any reminder to unsubscribe immediately. Reply START to resubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also change your reminder channel at any time from your private self-service link emailed to you at signup.

Mobile information (phone numbers and SMS opt-in data) is not shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is passed only to our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering your reminder messages.

We share data with the following service providers only as necessary to operate the service:

• A cloud database provider (Supabase) — stores campaign and signup data (US)
• A transactional email provider (Resend) — receives your email address to deliver reminders and confirmations
• An SMS delivery provider (Twilio) — receives your phone number solely to deliver SMS reminders for Pro campaigns when you have opted in. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with any other third party for marketing or promotional purposes.
• A payment processor (Stripe) — handles Pro plan billing for campaign creators (we never see your card details)

Campaign data, slots, and signups are retained as long as your campaign exists. Neighbors can cancel their subscription at any time via their personal self-service link — this deactivates their signup but does not immediately delete their record.

To request deletion of your data, email us at hello@recycleraise.com and we will remove it within 30 days.

RecycleRaise is designed for use by and on behalf of children with parental involvement. Campaign creators (who provide an email address) must be 13 or older. Neighbor signups do not require account creation. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@recycleraise.com.

We may update this policy occasionally. We'll update the date at the top when we do. Continued use of RecycleRaise after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
