Terms of Service

By creating a campaign or signing up as a neighbor on RecycleRaise, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

RecycleRaise is a coordination platform. We help campaign creators organize recycling pickup routes and connect with neighbors who wish to donate their recyclable materials. RecycleRaise does not collect recycling, redeem materials, handle money, or guarantee any earnings.

• You are responsible for accurately representing your campaign, including what materials you accept and your pickup schedule.
• You are responsible for all interactions with neighbors, including safe pickup, accurate earnings reporting, and fulfilling any stated fundraising purpose.
• You must not misrepresent your identity, purpose, or earnings to neighbors.
• You are responsible for complying with all local laws related to recycling redemption and fundraising.
• RecycleRaise is not responsible for any failure to complete pickups, missed dates, or disputes between you and your neighbors.

• You agree to place only the accepted materials outside, prepared as instructed.
• You are responsible for ensuring materials are accessible and safe to collect.
• RecycleRaise is not responsible for any failure by campaign creators to complete pickups.

RecycleRaise does not guarantee any earnings, redemption amounts, or fundraising outcomes. Recycling deposit values vary by location, material type, and redemption center. We are not a financial service and provide no financial advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RecycleRaise, its operator, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of earnings, property damage, personal injury, or any other loss arising from or related to your use of this platform.

RecycleRaise's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to RecycleRaise in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if RecycleRaise has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

RecycleRaise is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the service is at your own risk.

Pro plan subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal accessible from your campaign management page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

By providing a phone number during signup and selecting SMS as your reminder channel, you consent to receive automated transactional SMS messages from RecycleRaise about your selected campaign's pickup schedule. SMS reminders are only sent for campaigns on a paid Pro plan.

Message and data rates may apply. Frequency: typically 1–4 messages per month per recipient, depending on the campaign's pickup cadence.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time, START to resubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also change your reminder channel from your private self-service link emailed to you at signup.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You are responsible for keeping your phone number current and notifying us if it changes (via your self-service link).

• Using RecycleRaise to deceive or defraud neighbors
• Creating campaigns for purposes other than legitimate recycling fundraising
• Collecting materials under false pretenses
• Using the platform to harvest personal data for any purpose other than running your route

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any campaign or account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion, without notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of RecycleRaise after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
